Just discovered your blog. These are really great.

I'm curious, where do you find such fantastic reference for facial expressions?

Thanks for the kind words.

Google image search is a great place to start when hunting the elusive prey that is "quirky facial expressions." Type in any sort of expression/mood and you're bound to turn up a few good results, however Google runs dry fairly fast, so recently I've turned to ripping things out of magazines. I've been tearing up magazines for inspiration/ideation since design school but only recently started doing the same to start a reference journal.

The above image is from Rolling Stone, Belushi is from Google, and the cheerleader and fitness competitor are from an Arnold Classic article in a fitness magazine.

PS - I checked out your site and wow, you can draw! Keep up the hard work Cedric, it's really paying off.
