Week 5 face poses

This semester we are to create two faces poses a week to help us become comfortable posing the face. I'll be posting mine as I go along, and as always, crits and comments are encouraged.

Hey man! I am just wondering is there any way that i could have the character rig that you are using for the blendshape tests, if you don't mind? It seems like a good character to animate...Thanks a million!!!

Sorry, but the rig is strictly for use only by students at Animation Mentor. Check around though, there are many great rigs with good facial setups available for free. When I get a chance I'll dig up some urls and post them.

not that it takes too much effort to create this sort of rig, model or blendshapes.
people who don't want to put the effort in, have no business working with the materials.
if that seems harsh, try to understand from a rigger's perspective.
if you don't know how to drive, don't buy a car, and don't expect me to hand you one.
anyhow... posing faces is one thing... now lets see you go between'em.

In my school we seperate the eyes and the mouse shapes.
That way we have more option... dont you do the same?

great expression!!
can you tell me, is the rig blendshape-based or bone-based?? it looks really flexible.
and, are you set this facial with original facial setup, or you need to make another blendshape for those expression??
